DANIEL & TAORMINA. Wedding Castell d´Emporda
I love working as a wedding photographer in Gerona.
Although I mainly work as wedding photographer in Navarra and Pamplona, I also do weddings in the Costa Brava any time that I’m asked, as the landscapes and venues there are so nice and picturesques, that results are always amazing. On this occasion this wedding in Costa Brava took place at Castell d’Empordà, a 4-star hotel built inside a thousand-year old castle. This beautiful hotel is surrounded by olive trees and oak, which provide thos wedding venues with quite amazing panoramic views. It’s a perfect place to get married in Costa Brava.
So this was the place, Taormina and Daniel choose to get married in North Spain. Taormina, the bride is originally from London and Daniel is Spanish, he is from Madrid but they currently live in Suiza. It was their dream to celebrate a small veggie wedding in Costa Brava and to get married at Castell d’Empordà as they both love the castle and its surroundings.
For her mediterranean wedding, the bride chose a beautiful dress from Novia d´Art @Morgan Davies - London. It was a lace dress with v-neckline and backless. For her hair the bride wore a small crown. She got ready at the same hotel with her bridesmaids and once she was all set up, they all made a toast with champagne to the happy bride. The groom wore a classic navy blue suit from Itailor.com with green tie and a gray vest. He got ready with the help of his brother and parents. They were both really smart. And so, the wedding ceremony began.
It was a very romantic ceremony that took place in the castle fields at a beautiful altar outdoors. The bride came on her father´s arm and after a very emotional wedding ceremony officiated by one of their closest friends. When the wedding ceremony ended the newly wed celebrated their moment hugging all their friends and family members. Then the guests enjoyed a lovely mediterranean cocktail, while we went to the countryside to take their wedding pictures already as husband and wife. We walk around L’Empordà and the olive trees, and took very nice wedding pictures of them in the surroundings of the Castle and with a beautiful small chapel. After that, we went back to the castle and the wedding dinner began. It was a beautiful mediterranean outdoors wedding dinner with round tables decorated beautifully with a bouquet of flowers in the center and a Freixenet bottle for each guest to toast for the new happy couple.
But what make this outdoors decoration very impressive was the lighting decoration as you can see in the pictures. All the wedding fine art decoration was made by Diluart Events.
After the nice wedding dinner, the celebration began. The wedding guests had so much fun dancing and playing around with the photo booth. I loved working in this beautiful wedding in North Spain.
